[Sent this to the Scotstone list, and it bounced - not heard from 
Scotstone in ages - is it still going?]

Can anyone recommend sites between Cairnholy and Kilmartin worth 
visiting? Hugging or staying in rough line of west coast as much as 
possible.

Similarly, en route from Iona to either Glasgow or Edinburgh?

Are there significant problems with midges at this time of year?
