am equally no expert here, but guesstimate the arrival
of modern humans in North West Europe at some time
around 40-50,000 years ago? which i guess tallies with
the 30K limit for Neanderthals, when the two species
co-existed?

however, the "700,000 years ago" people must have been
Homo Erectus?
