Glad you enjoyed it.
The open access at Stonehenge for the winter solstice and spring and autumn
equinoxes is far more informal and there is no publicity.
There is a dirt track which crosses the A344 next to the Stonehenge carpark;
you can park along it. There is nowhere else to park.
Access isn't for long. It usually begins about half an hour before dawn and
you are ushered out soon after an hour has passed.
Sorry, I can't help you with information about any accommodation in the
area.
