I've been a few times this century; I won't be going this year.
Believe me, you wouldn't enjoy it. Twenty thousand people within the henge
dropping their litter, with the space within the trilithons crammed full,
saddens all that care.
It's far better to go on one of the other open access times: winter solstice
dawn or, preferably for the lesser number of people, the equinox dawns.
Of course, you don't get to see the sun rising over the Heelstone (viewed
from Stonehenge) at these times, but you don't get to see it at the summer
solstice, either, unless your prepared to spend an hour bargeing your way
through the throng.
