And many thanks for doing so! That was a pretty nightmarish period and  
it was good of you to spread the news and keep other places informed.

I've never been very good at the whole publicity side of things, and  
now that I've finally put my web site out of it's misery then it's  
hard to know how to spread the word about the mailing list. I guess  
that quite a few stumbled across my pages whilst researching a  
particular site and then found the mailing list from there.

And no, I have no intention of bringing my web site back, I've not had  
time to do anything like that for years now, and as I also don't get  
nearly as much chance to get out there and visit the places it's a  
thing which has had it's day.
