I doubt if it was done swiftly Ric, you can bet your life this whole new housing development scheme was done and dusted at the Avebury Social Club and in the upper bar at the Red Lion long ago.

Couldn't be could it that the residents of the mobile home park will be compensated, moved off the caravan site while the new 'affordable' housing is being built there - perhaps even given first option on buying those units?

But no compromises on this; we have to get like-mined people to come out and say No way! This is a World heritage Site - no building within it. Build elsewhere.
