[Stones] New houses for Avebury?

thanks Andy.

this is a WHS - i am gutted to hear that building is
planned to be taking place within several hundred
metres of the henge - i think it's a joke - my
nightmare of a McD's opening next door to Stonehenge
edges ever closer, and this will set a dangerous
precedent

i have no sympathy with the villagers - if you want to
live in a green and pleasant village, move to Lacock.
leave Avebury to its stones, and its spiritual,
leisure and archaeological visitors

protest - bring in the conservation bods - get the
press involved - this new build will compromise
megalithic Avebury: i am incensed and incredulous that
the idea has even been entertained?
