Actually, now I've thought about it, it's not a bad theory at all!

And when I said I'd seen many comets - rubbish!  Sorry, folks!  I was
thinking shooting stars!  Duh!  Comets.  Yes.  Never seen one of those
do owt more than look beautiful for a few nights in the sky...  ;)

But why the hell not?  As I said before - it's as good as any other
theory!  :)  And I had often wondered why we in the South hadn't been
blessed with anywhere near the amount of rockart compared to our friends
in the North!

Roughting Linn IS a good example, with the carvings that look, to m,
like fireworks...

When I get a mo, I'll follow your (Merryn's) link and look up Mike
Baillie...
