yes, it's here -
http://tinyurl.com/yozbnh
or
http://66.102.9.104/search?q=cache:p1WvztCdmlIJ:www.themodernantiquarian.com/site/2401/bedd_branwen.html+Branwen%27s+barrow&hl=en&ct=clnk&cd=1&gl=uk&ie=UTF-8
Bron or Branwen is the sister of Bran the Blessed
[Bendigedig] - perhaps a sea god - and prototype for
the Arthurian Fisher King: there is a sort of link
between Branwen and Helen [Elen], because Elen's
father is Eudaf Hen, descended through Caradog, from
Bran. The name of the river by Bedd Bronwen - the Alaw
- is of interest, since there are a number of river
names beginning with 'al[a]-' in Britain, and no-one
has yet definitely identified the meaning, although i
am thinking more of the Aln, Alan and Alauna rivers,
with their distinctive 'n' endings; i personally
believe that (female form) Alan or Alun is the same as
Elen - means the same thing - Middle Welsh 'elain',
doe or fawn.
Thanks Thelma: quite a coincidence - Barclodiad y
gawres is also on Anglesea / Ynys Mon: if i lived
closer i'd be spending a lot of time in this part of
Wales :)
Bests
Ric
