Hi,

this link is also stonesy and relevant, but i cannot
understand most of it? :-o

the mound appears to be Gronowy's Grave (various
spellings) and the farmhouse has been named after
Gronowy's Stone, the one he vainly hid behind?

reckon the mound could be either a Bronze Age barrow
or even older, if an eroded long barrow? It's been
noted by CADW, about a year ago ...

the legendary Sarn Elen trackway virtually touches the
mound, as it wends its way northward, in the general
direction of the Lake of the Maidens ...
