...straight line thro Silbury/Silbaby/ Sanctuary...

No disrespect, but I'm not convinced that three points in alignment (Silbury/Great Bank/Sanctuary) amount to much. Give me four points and I'll get out m' car. Give me five points that line up (say within a five mile 'sacred landscape' radius) and there's no argument. Sorry, but I'm very sceptical of lines through points of interest. Anyone drawn a line  for example from the Swallohead, through Silbury to see what megalith it might hit at Avebury or the Avenue? 'tother thing to remember is the time difference between the construction of the Sanctuary, the Great Bank (assuming the Great Bank was constructed) and Silbury. So what if these three points line up; question is what are they lining up to? Three points of interest in a line are meaningless - they only become meaningful when there are points of interest outside that line.
