in my dealings with EH i gained the distinct
impression that, rather than being civil/public
servants (paid for by us), they rather take the view
that they actually 'own' the monuments in their care,
and have actually taken up residence in the 'nicer'
examples, at our expense, of course? it will indeed be
interesting to see if EH do deign to keep us informed
of events at Silbury?
