Thank you for passing on the sad news Tim. I'll always remember Ian with 
great fondness. He had such an enthusiasm and came over as such a 
'genuine' person.

I've left a comment in the guestbook, and I'm so happy to hear that his 
family will be maintaining his web site.

I'll always associate Dartmoor with Ian. I hadn't explored Dartmoor at 
all until he inspired me to go and see all those stone rows for myself. 
My thoughts will certainly be with him whenever I'm around the stones of 
Dartmoor.
