[Stones] Stonehenge and Avebury Quotes

Mentioned on 23 February that the Folio Society had brought out a new edition of Tess of the d'Urbervilles, illustrated with woodcuts by Peter Reddick, and was hoping that one of the woodcuts would show Stonehenge. The book's just arrived; nice edition - slipcase and cover in very dark green, title blocked in gold, half-page woodcut illustration of Stonehenge on page 413 followed by the words,

'It is Stonehenge!' said Clare.
'The heathen temple you mean?'
'Yes. Older than the centuries; older than the d'Urbervilles!...'
