[Stones] So, is this what some think of our heritage?

well done!

i have sent endless missives complaining about the
lamentable state of the Ridgeway ...

 - and also about its officially truncated status,
where it does a 90 degree turn at Avebury, in the
guidebooks, whereas you can easily see it continuing
on to the Sanctuary and beyond Overton Hill, to East
Kennet and away! The fact that the Ridgeway has not
been officially identified beyond Overton i can only
attribute to mental laziness?

it's quite clearly marked on the O/S as 'Ridgeway' as
far south as Alton Priors (site of megaliths buried
beneath disused church), but not in the official
guide?

ye gods, who are these spokespeople for the British
countryside, they don't seem to know their right hand
from their left?
