Littlestone,
The long man is not an effigy of a prophet, holy or otherwise. It is a 
sixteenth or seventeenth century hill carving. Which used to be a military 
figure, with a helmet on and everything.

On the other hand, it's a lot older than the druids' religion which, in my 
opinion, verges on Victorian Scientology. (yes, I know that's getting a bit 
anachronistic but I'm showing you a valuable example of what we in the real 
world call "lightening up and having a laugh").
