Thanks Littlestone - I've read the Stonehenge reviews and I obviously must get hold of both books. (Any discounts for list members, Andy??!)
But I just **cannot believe** that Burl has brought up that hoary old nonesense about the bluestones being brought from Wales by glaciation ! I hope it's just the reviewer's misunderstanding of Burl's position.
But, referring to Darvill's book, of course the Hyperborian temple has to be Callanish, not Stonehenge (as suggested by the writings of Diodorus and Eratostenes)! :-)
