  Apologies for the 'canteen culture' which seems to be in vogue here at the present moment? - personally, i can only imagine a very concentrated form of acid might obtain the result you are looking for?
   
  Please take care, and make sure no megaliths in your part of India are harmed in any way ~ i do happen to know India has many fine prehistoric monuments.
