[Stones] Berwick St James

Dressed to Kill? Indigo Jones' Stonehenge Alter Stone is the latest interesting post on Dennis Price's website at http://www.eternalidol.com/ where he and Pete Glastonbury advance the idea of a possible lost alter stone from Stonehenge - now in two pieces in the village of Berwick St James in Wiltshire. I wonder what members of the List think of this and whether, if the two pieces of stone do prove to be from Stonehenge, they think they should be returned there (or moved to a place where they will not be vandalised or accidentally damaged).

I'm just the messenger as far as the possible Stonehenge/Berwick St James connection is concerned, if you agree or don't agree with Dennis' hypothesis there's a place on his website where you can make your views known. I am interested however to hear how List members feel about restoring stones to their place of origin - whether it's Stonehenge, Avebury or anywhere else.
