[Stones] An Unexpected Find

One of the delightful things about having an obsessive eye for anything
megalithic, is that sometimes one of the "ooh it's a stone!" moments
actually is something worth raving about.
Just returned from 8 delightful days in North Wales.
On one day with no planned megaliths, we visited the impressive site and
sight of Dolbadarn Castle between Lakes Padarn and Peris. Impressive
keep with the "Highlander" feel to it. I spotted a stone sticking up on
a mount oozing with ancient vibes, and had to investigate. Even before
spotting the stone, I saw a rock and thought "now this is where Arthur
could have drawn the sword from the stone!".
This site is not on the 1:25000 map which I pore over everywhere I go...
I have a short write up, and an uncertain entry from Coflein here, with pics

Having contacted a couple of archaeologists, they are quite optimistic
about it. Any more opinions welcome.
But it's not on the map, and therefore, not entered anywhere obviously
online. As for the thing about stones being damaged from being
publicised online, there is considerable fire damage at these (see
pics), about which I'll contact CADW this week.
I just love ancient stones, and this has more than made up for seeing
sweet foxtrot alpha up Snowdon that morning!
Cheers
Tim
