I have the experience that you can not really predict a sun or moon
set/rise from another location;-). It seems to be very local (certainly
when it is overcast or foggy). When I am somewhere, I almost go very day
even if the weather does not look promising. Sometimes I am lucky to see.
Hope to see you at Callanish I in end september. I don't think I will be
at Callanish I during the real day. I think I will look for another
place (I don't like crowded places). But more places are available to
witness the event. But hope to see you. I am a person with a bread and
glasses;-)
