They are a very special type of chamber known as an Entrance 
Grave, they are only found in the Scilly Isles and Penwith in Cornwall.
There are actually 108 known EG's on the islands and only 14 on the 
mainland. The figure for the islands will be much lower than the 
original count as the land area has drastically reduced since 
prehistoric times due to rising sea level, meaning that many EG's 
now lie submerged beneath the sea.
