Yep, thats the one, the person reviewing it there dosn't seem impressed though LOL i suppose it depends what your expecting to find i suppose, but for me to be able to touch and be near something which was so obviously significant to the people 4000 yrs ago is a great thing....and if you make that climb and think that the people would have carried their loved ones all the way up there to lay them to rest, i think it's pretty awesome and must have had huge significance to them, i couldn't imagine a more lovely place to be put when my time is up.
I'm not sure about the other cairn which is up there, don't know wether it is a replica or there for another reason. A lot of cairns found around Lewis are placed on old well trodden routes where loved ones were found dead after very long journeys in the days when they would walk everywhere, or so i've read in the local books about the island.
Something else he says in his post tied in to something i was thinking while i was sitting up there today (again! ) he mentions how the cairns are on top of hills here....today i was sitting looking around towards the Harris mountains thinking about the moon skim and wondering how it would have looked from there before all the trees were planted, and what (if any) effect it may have there....maybe some, maybe none, i think i'll have to go check that out for myself.

As for bringing the weather with you.....yes please : o ) just remember your midge repellent LOL
