[Stones] Callanish visit for the moon skim

  I took  the reference from Peter Marshall's European's Lost Civilizations -  he sailed to all these places (which seems to be a lot better than going by road).  He must have taken it from Burl in "From Carnac to Callanish"  who also argues that Diodurus could only have been talking about Callanish even though he got some of his facts wrong - but you will have to read the book to understand the argument..... ;)
  

it certainly looks good when you read it doesn't it? I wonder if any other references tie into Callanish too though  

  a quick Google brought up this http://glossary.cassiopaea.com/glossary.php?id=383 which tells of two stories of Hyperborea but with conflicting climates - I'm not sure I buy their explanation of it
