Abandoned Landscapes: Archaeological Journeys, a major piece of work
being serialised as an ebook

"The tide of human settlement has largely receded from the hills and
mountains of North Wales, leaving one of the richest historic landscapes
in Europe. This journal describes a series of walks through the valley
and moorland environments of these uplands. Those interested in stone
circles, standing stones and tombs, will find their appreciation and
understanding of these sites enhanced."
Abandoned Landscapes includes an introduction to the archaeological
character of the area and lots of practical advice to study and enjoy
it. The author, M.M.Robinson is an archaeologist who lives and works in
the north of England. The ebook is edited for web publication by
Shropshire Traveller.
