[Stones] Thornborough Henges News

This isn't about who does more in my book, I'm very aware that Andy has
decided I am part of "the enemy" for whatever reason. I can well understand
peple not liking my style or wishing things had been said differently in a
press release, but I found those people came farward and offered to help
make them better, not look for opportunities to slag them off in public.

The last time Andy had a go at my press releases, the one in question ended
up with me getting interviewed on Radio 4 Today and News 24 - this was the
first real national coverage of the issue and 100% success in my book but
not good enough for Andy.

Anyway my job at this point in time is to remind all of you that if you want
to make a difference for Thornborough, right now you have an opportunity by
sending in comments on the planning application to the Planning
Inspectorate. You have until the 6th of September. That is what the press
release was about.

George

Jeez Andy, you really do need to take a pill for your self-aggrandisement.

Do you really think you have some sort of monopoly on the promotion and
protection of ancient sites? Even if George's press-releases are one-man
affairs (and personally I don't give a tinker's cuss whether they are or
not) he seems to me to have done far more to campaign against the
destruction of ancients sites than you ever have - please correct me (with
examples) if I am wrong in that in that assumption.
