The Stones Mailing List has been online since the end of September 1997. The original reason for starting this mailing list was for a small group of interested web masters and others to be able to chat about issues relating to ancient sites.
Membership has grown over the years and we now have a wide range of people with expertise and interest in all kinds of different areas taking part. All are welcome, whatever their angle on ancient sites their input will be appreciated!

General Tips for Subscribers
1. All messages distributed by the mailing list will have [stones] added to the subject line. This can be a useful means of filtering the messages into a seperate folder in your mail client. Of course you can also filter for messages sent to stones@stoneslist.org.uk.
2. If you are using Outlook or Outlook Express as your mail client then you might want to take a look at the following free add-ins :-
